Pull Up a Chair
The year was 1969, the first man walked on the moon, there was a music festival Woodstock upstate NY, the New York Mets won the World Series for the first time but more importantly I met Norma.
I was 11 years old and I sat around her kitchen table with her daughters. She listened so intently to us and gave love so generously. This paved the way for many of my beliefs.
She later painted the butterfly for my logo and gave me golden sneakers with hearts to replace older ones I wore around my neck at my meetings. Once she was in her eighties, I found myself back at her kitchen table listening intently to her weekly for 6.5 years. I was so blessed. We joked "Wednesdays with Norma". Norma passed away in December 2022.
She was 89 years young, sharp as a tack with a wonderful sense of humor and generous heart. Whether she held a paint brush, a make-up brush, a gardening tool or a wooden spoon she was always creating a masterpiece. I dedicate this program to my dear friend Norma.

Today having achieved some dreams that were once only seeds in her soul, Noreen wonders what is possible for YOU.
